Data and privacy

  • All processing happens on the M2. It works offline and stores each scan on the device by default.
  • The customer chooses where records go: QBOID Cloud, its own endpoint, both, or nowhere.
  • QBOID Cloud runs in two regions, chosen at sign-up: US (customers.qboid.ai) and EU (eu.customers.qboid.ai). Data stays in the chosen region.
  • Customers own their data. QBOID doesn't sell operational data and can't access data on a device remotely.
  • QBOID never stores payment card data; store payments are processed by Shopify.
  • Details: Trust & security and the product Privacy Policy ↗.
